Blood Separation
StatSpin's Prepared Microtubes are quick and easy to use -- serum (red top), plasma (green top) or gel tube (clear top). Quality separations in only 30-90 seconds. Patented PlasmaRotor (yellow cap) produces gel-separated plasma from up to 3 mL of blood in just 30 seconds to 2.5 minutes depending upon application. Microtubes fit RT12 Tube Rotor.

LipoClear®
Simple, effective way to clear lipemia from 0.5 or 1.5 mL of serum or plasma. Five minute room temperature incubation followed by a 90 second cycle in your StatSpin (a bit longer in other centrifuges). Convenient predispensed reagent tubes, non-toxic, one-year shelf life if kept refrigerated. Tubes fit RT12 Tube Rotor; can also be used in VET Express and other centrifuge brands.

Urine Sediment

Microhematocrits
Accurate and easy crits in two minutes from as little as 10 uL of blood! Choose glass or easy to read SafeCrit^® plastic tubes, plain or heparinized. These tubes feature rapid capillary action and have a two-year shelf life. For use in RH12 HCT Rotor.

CytoFuge 2 Filter Concentrators

Easy to use device allows cells to gently concentrate in a 7mm diameter area on the slide while supernatant is simultaneously absorbed by a filter card. Accepts 50-400 ul of sample; produces cell monolayer presentations of excellent quality.

CytoFuge 2 Cell Concentrators

Three-chamber Cell Concentrators allow for three different concentrators of the same specimen to be spun simultaneously on one slide (up to 200uL fluid per chamber), or different stains applied to same specimen. One chamber Cell Concentrator processes up to 0.8 mL fluid. Both bleach compatible.
